Manager for the country programme’s operational and financial accountability as well as for security and safety of 4 international and 90 national staff. Responsible to monitor the successful implementation of the SRC projects (Disaster Risk Management, Recovery, WASH and CommunityHealth/Nutrition), as well as to promote the formulation of new projects. In 2019, the various SRC projects are integrated through a synergistic method under Community Resilience approach.

For the Regional Sahel Pastoralism Support Project (PRAPS), I facilitated, withinh a multidisciplinary team, two supervision of pastoral crisis management in Burkina Faso, Chad Mali, Mauritania, Niger, and Senegal. I also facilitated the 4th support mission (32 people) appraising the progresses of the PRAPS activities from October 2016 to May 2017 in the 6 Sahelian countries.

In the FAO-Animal Production Systems Branch of Animal Production & Health Division, I provided expertise on appropriate technologies and techniques relevant to livestock production. I contributed to the preparation of publications and communication products. For the FAO emergency interventions, I extensively supported TCE and more specifically, FAO CF-Bangui, in Central African Republic (including field missions) on livestock issues and develop programmatic planning and tools in response to the crisis impact on the transhumance and pastoralists.
